Jackie Clarke

Each ‘Slice of Heaven’ show is fronted by either kiwi icon Jackie Clarke or former Zed frontman Nathan King. Jackie Clarke’s illustrious career has seen her on stage (Mamma Mia, Porgy and Bess) and screen ( judging NZ Idol) , as well as performing with The Lady Killers (with Tina Cross and Suzanne Lynch), When the Cat’s Been Spayed, Jubilation Gospel Choir, The Darlings and guesting with Dave Dobbyn, Annie Crummer, and more! Jackie was a core artist of the iconic Coca Cola Christmas in the Park events for many years and has sung with all the major orchestra’s in New Zealand and been asked back! Jackie is also much in demand as an M.C and voice artist.

Nathan King

Nathan King is a gifted and passionate songwriter. Only five years after strumming that first chord, Nathan found his songs and exceptional voice at the heart of multi-platinum, award-winning success as his band Zed saw their debut album shoot to number one. Nathan found himself honing his craft in front of thousands of fans in Australasia touring with Robbie Williams and Coldplay and throughout the US and Europe. In 2001 he won the Best Male Vocalist, plus Best Group and Best Album (with Zed) at the New Zealand Music Awards. Nathan has released two solo albums and is currently working on both his new band ‘Twin Cities’ and running ‘Hum Studios’ in Auckland.

Chris Lam Sam

Chris has worked as a professional touring musician for well over a decade and says, ‘Working with the Kids For Kids choirs is one of the most fun jobs in the world.’ He is a qualified composer and primary school teacher, however he is more widely recognised because of his work with ‘The Funky Monkeys’, his children’s band who star on TV and have performed live to over 1.5 million Kiwis since 2003.

Brooke Baker

Brooke is a creative soul. she is a professional photographer, is a performing musician & director of community choir, a graphic designer, filmmaker. Brooke enjoys riding her vintage bike, a jolly good laugh, an early morning jog, time exploring, reading or hearing a decent story & generally enjoying whatever life throws her way. Brooke loves to work with interesting creative humans, old & new, who revel in life & celebrate what they love.
